My name is Sabina Insull and I am a tailor.
I have been sewing since I was a little girl. At the age of 7 I start making simple things like skirts, table cloths, curtains and pillows. I even tried to make my own sewing patterns but came to realize that it was complicated.
By the age of 10 I was making my own stage clothing for dance shows that I was in and I was helped by my sewing teacher. I also made my own graduation clothing.
I always knew I wanted to become something big within sewing and I began to research different certifications. I often got to hear from people around me that I should sew and sell, and have my own shop. This became my biggest dream. As an adult I decided to make my dream come true and I joined a 1 year sewing class, due to needing to have a basic sewing certification in order to join other further education. This sewing class also had the basics in pattern construction which I needed. I after that year I became and apprentice to a tailor. For 2 years I gained experience in tailoring, alterations and pattern construction. During my total 3 years apprenticeship, I realized how fun it is with pattern construction, and came up with my idea of making my own pattern construction book. I am currently working on this book today, which will take time to complete, but once it is done it will be on the market to sell. 
Today my tailoring and alteration business is up and running, working from home. On this webpage you will find all the information of my tailoring and alteration business but also commissions.
Every garment that I make, custom orders, has its very own unique sewing pattern that I have drafted.
