Tailoring, alterations and commissions​.

I do all kinds of alterations and tailoring. Everything from casual clothing to bridal and prom. No job is too small, so I even take alterations such as curtains, tablecloths and some upholstery.

Tailoring

I tailor garments using your measurements. Everything from casual to bridal and prom.
  • You can come to the shop and have all your necessary measurements taken by me.
  • With those measurements I draft a pattern and tailor you a garment based on the measurements taken.
  • There will be fitting appointments to make sure that the garment is up to your expectations.
  •  Prices will vary for tailored garments and a quote will be given after we discuss all the details. 
  • Fabric samples are included in the price.

Alterations

I do all kinds of alterations. Everything from casual clothing to bridal and prom.

Vinyl prints

I'm happy to make cool vinyl prints for you, either for you to add on your own garments or I'll add it for you. Maybe you want to add something extra to your garment or want your business logo on. 

Sewing patterns

I make sewing patterns too, not only to every tailored garment, but custom ordered sewing patterns and patterns with multiple sizes. I already have a few sewing patterns made and more to come.

Sewing machine service

I can offer simple domestic sewing machine service and repair.

FAQ
Q "How long will it take before I can pick my garments up after alterations?"

A - Within a week. Bridal and prom can take longer to complete and is best to give me at least  2-4 weeks notice.
Q "Can I get a quote on alterations online"

A - Yes. But it will be an estimated quote. You can send me pictures of your garment together with information on what your wishes are. The quote may change after I see it in person as I will look at details which pictures do not show. You are however not obligated to follow through with the alterations if you are not happy with the new quote if the price changes. 
Q "How much does it cost to shorten my bridal/prom dress?"

A - I need to know details in order to give you a quote. You can send me pictures of the dress but I also need to know how many layers of fabric there are on the dress including lining. 
Q "Can you do rush job?"

A - Yes. I can arrange to finish quicker but there will be a rush fee added to the price.
Q "Can I pay by PayPal or bank transfer?"

A - Yes. You can pay by cash, PayPal and bank transfer. If you choose to pay by PayPal and bank transfer it must be done before picking the garment up.

Q "Do I pay before or after alterations?"

A - You pay after alterations are done. If you choose to pay via PayPal or bank transfer that has to be done before picking the garment up.
On some bridal and prom there might be a deposit to pay if there are multiple alterations needed. 
Q "What happens if I am not quite happy with the results?"

A - I am only human like everyone else but I always offer to change what you would not be happy with, without any extra cost. Its always included in my prices. However you can't add another alteration without extra cost.
Q "Can I order a tailored garment online without any appointment?"

A - Yes you can. Even though it is better to book appointments for a tailored garment, it can still be done completely online for those who live to far to come to me. The difference would be that there won't be any fittings included and you would have to take your own measurements. Contact me for further information.
Q "I want to order a tailored garment or a cosplay garment. How does this work?"

A - No matter if its online or by appointment we will go through all the details and I will give you a quote. I might not give a quote on the spot and need some time to think. After quote is given and accepted we will arrange a contract. This contract will make it safe for both you as a customer and me as a tailor, to ensure you will receive what you asked for. There will be a deposit needed for this but is part of the total of the quote. The contract will include all the details of your garment, design and fabrics. For more information please contact me.
Q "Can you do service and repair on any sewing machine?"

A - I do service and smaller repairs on a lot of domestic sewing machines. You can send me a picture of your machine and I will be able to advice you. ​
Q "Do you repair and service overlocker/serger machine?"

A - Currently no. I can do smaller service on overlocker/serger to help you clean it and get the tension right. 
Q "Can you service and repair industrial machines?"

A - No. Not yet. This is something I will offer in the future though.
